Uhmmm...YUM!!! One of my fav places! My 16 yo vegetarian daughter says their veggie burger is unreal--best thing ever. Just introduced my wife to this place tonight. She was so glad she came.
Must try: Appetizer: Hushpuppies in Memphis Sauce--like tasting heaven. Nothing like it. Could've eaten those for the entree.
Wedge salad was great. Wife loved the special: braised short ribs. The server insisted we try the bread pudding. Usually not my fav type of dessert but this was wow! Mmm!
Also must try: Take a trip to their soda wall in the back--more obscure speciality sodas than I've ever seen. I really enjoyed rhe Virgil's Root Beer brewed in Germany. Very personable and friendly staff. The chef came out and told us all about how and why she cooked things they way she did. Our server really knew her stuff, too.
Great atmosphere. Clever decor. Sweet blues playing in the background with some CCR thrown in the mix. Well worth grabbing a bite here.
